See how straight Alan was sitting up? He performed all of the developmental skills early. Seems like Jackson is doing that too! Happy Birthday for your March 26th B'day. Love you

January 16 MLK Day No School

Everybody, at church, kept asking me to see pictures - I hope they know how to get to the Blogs - it's still hard for me to oporate this thing. But they could see the picture that younger son put in the Shelby County Reporter. I'm having to wait for Jackson to develop a strong immune system - hopefully that will only be a few more weeks, then I can get in some holding and rocking time. His parents and my sister, say he is a sweet, quiet, baby. Just waiting for my turn to love on him. Doesn't he look like an angel??? XOXO to Jackson.

contempleting the end of 2005

Everyone is nervous, but excited, to have a new grandson as a grand finale for 2005.
Yet, I've spent a lot of time today checking on my own life insurance, due to recent events, and writing out personal wishes to be recorded in the safety depoisit box - with a few sad moments and tears. Also knowing that I won't have my 13 or 14 year old chocolate dachsund with me much longer, and I've had her longer than any of the grandchildren.
Life with a minature dachsund can make you laugh hysterically, scream in rage, and clean up a lot of "accidents", buy Christmas presents in the Pet section, and yet you just keep on loving the furry creature and she keeps your back warm at night!
